This phase of the project, which occurs during design development, is essential to ensure a solution that is operable and user friendly. We prepare full-scale models of the containment devices and use actual operators to run through the processing steps while noting difficulties and making appropriate adjustments to heights, locations, etc. The entire process is photographed. Ergonomic models are usually prepared prior to final contract negotiations with the various vendors. Many times the ergonomic review report is included as part of the bid documentation.
